Boeing: Charleston, SC. |
2015-06-17 |
This video is one of the assembly line at Boeing in Charleston SC. Six planes in various stages of completion are under the one roof. When completed the plane is towed to the paint shop. Boeing has a runway that connects with the Charleston airport. It is from here that the planes are delivered to customers. The 1,000th order was placed by Etihad Airways Nov 13 2013. The fuselage plant constructs 2 carbon fiber fuselages at a time not far from the main assembly plant. Made in the U.S.A. |

#5 Sorry but that is the 737 line in Renton WA. the Screamliner is composite and the fuselages in the videos are clearly aluminum. Also the BNSF doesn't deliver them; they are laid up and produced on site. |

#3 I think the Seattle plant is scheduled for that first. The Seattle Plant already has robots, P2K. It's just that they whine, take breaks and go on strike from time to time. |
