[ABS-CBN] A soldier was killed and seven others were injured in an hour-long clash between Philippine troops and the New People's Army in Kitaotao, Bukidnon on Wednesday morning.Military spokesman Patrick Martinez said the encounter began Tuesday after troops discovered a camp of the Guerilla Front 53 of the Southern Mindanao Regional Committee. Clearing operations in the area are ongoing.
