[DAWN] SUKKUR: A clash over a land dispute between two tribal communities in Bhooral Pitafi village near Khanpur Mahar town of Ghotki district left eight people injured on Monday.Two large groups of the Pitafi and Gabol communities wielding clubs and hatchets came face to face in their long-running row over piece of land and attacked each other, the area police said.
Eight of them, including Mir Ahmed Gabol, Irshad Gabol, Mohammed Ali, Niaz Ali, Mohammed Hassan Gabol and Zulfiqar Pitafi were admitted to Khanpur Mahar and Ghotki hospitals for treatment, they said.
Later, Khanpur Mahar police carried out raids at some places in the village and took away four suspects belonging to the Pitafi community but were yet to register an FIR of the clash.
