| 20 killed as terrorists attack Borno village |

| [PULSE.NG] A group of suspected Boko Haram ... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... Report says the Lions of Islam collaborated with some residents of the village at about 12 noon, which apparently eased their invasion of the village given the heavy presence of soldiers around that zone. The village is 40 kilometres away from Chibok Local Government Area and shares local border with Sambisa forest. The terrorist killed eight residents in the attack with several others injured, which after they razed some houses, shops and places of worship. A resident who escaped the attack told Vanguard, "with quick intervention of members of vigilantes (Local hunters), no fewer than 12 of the holy warriors were killed while others fled with various degrees of injuries. |
