| Scores killed in barrel bomb attack in Aleppo |

| Aleppo, Syria – On Tuesday, dozens of civilians were killed and others injured when the Syrian government’s air force dropped barrel bombs on the sub-district of Jamiyat Kahraba in the town of Khan al-Asal in the western countryside of Aleppo. Local activists from Aleppo told ARA News that the regime air forces continues to target Aleppo’s suburbs with barrel bombs, including the Maysar and Jamiyat Kahraba districts near the town of Khan al-Asal in the western countryside of Aleppo, killing and wounding civilians. ARA News could not verify the exact number of casualties. This coincided with clashes between militant fighters of the Islamic State (IS/ISIS) and the pro-regime forces in the vicinity of the Kwairis military airport in the countryside of Aleppo. |
