| Iraqi forces are 500 meters away from center of al-Karma |

| (IraqiNews.com) Al-Anbar – On Thursday, a security source within al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia said, that the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia are only 500 meters away from the center of al-Karma city, asserting that the announcement of the liberation of the city became very close. The deputy commander of the 30th Brigade of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia forces, Jumah al-Jamili, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi are no longer separated from the center of al-Karma city except by 500 meters,” pointing out that, “The announcement of the liberation of the whole city has become very close.” Al-Jamili added, “The forces of 30th Brigade from the sons of al-Karma are participating alongside Baghdad Operations Command in the operations to liberate al-Karma from the ISIS seizure.” The city of al-Karma is located 53 km east of Ramadi. |
