Senator Joe 'sometimes I thinks like a pub' Manchin Backs Clinton for 2016 |
2015-04-22 |
![]() On a conference call with reporters Monday, Manchin called Clinton "warm, compassionate, engaging and tough" and ready for the job. 'Warm....compassionate'....? Yes, in a Pol Pot sort of way. "Hillary has all the experience level. She's ready to go. She's been battle tested," he said. 'Ready to go?' Last time I heard that was from a 91 year old cousin at Timber Oaks. He was gone three months later. So far, Clinton is the only Democrat to declare her candidacy. Republicans Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul have also thrown their hats into the ring. In 2008, Manchin backed President Barrack Obama in the Democratic race. Manchin was talked about as a possible Vice Presidential candidate for Clinton in the past. This time, the senator says he believes his candidacy is "the furthest thing from their mind right now." Union coal miners being right at the top. Nice job with the talking points Joe. |

#2 Maybe she will appoint Joe as the Ambassador to Libya. I wonder what he thinks of that. |
