At least seven people were killed on Friday when a vehicle ran over a roadside bomb in eastern Afghanistan’s Logar province, IANS reported.Provincial government spokesman Din Mohammad Darwish told Xinhua news network that a station wagon set off an improvised explosive device (IED) on a main road in Baraki Barak district at around midday.
The victims were members of one family, Darwish said.
On Thursday, a suicide bomber killed at least 13 people and wounded around 40 others, including a prominent Afghan lawmaker, in an explosion near an anti-corruption protest outside the complex housing the governor of eastern Khost province.
