| 130 ISIS elements killed, sleeper cells found in Tikrit |

| [Iraq News] The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and the House of Representatives, Ahmed al-Jubouri, announced on Thursday. that the security forces were able to locate ISIS sleeper cells and kill 130 ISIS elements in Tikrit, while expressed his refusal to let the displaced people return to the city until it's completely secured. Al-Jubouri said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, "After liberating Tikrit city center, we had to address the issue of the improvised bombs and the houses and governmental institutions booby-trapped by the ISIS group snuffies when they controlled the city." Al-Jubouri added that in the military operations to liberate Tikrit, the security forces were able to kill more than 130 ISIS element and find several sleeper cells where they were hiding. |
