Siege Ends but 10 Dead, 66 injured |

[Tolo News] Balkh police officials on Thursday night confirmed ten people, including five security force members and five civilians, were killed in the Mazar-e-Sharif Appeal Court complex attack. According to officials, an additional 66 people were maimed in the siege that raged between gunnies and Afghan security members for many hours. Afghan security force members killed the four murderous Moslems responsible for the attack that started at about 11.30 a.m local time when the gunnies dressed in military uniforms stormed the building after shooting dead a security guard. It is believed that among the injured is the Head of the Appeal Court and the provincial head of the violence against children department, said officials. |
