Iran wants immediate ceasefire in Yemen |

Having achieved their goals -- the conquest of Yemen -- the Medes and the Persians want a ceasefire so their sock puppets can consolidate their gains. Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, who is in Pakistain on a two-day visit, discussed with Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz ...Adviser to Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on National Security and Foreign Affairs, who believes in goodjihadis and badjihadis as a matter of national policy... the aggravating situation in Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... and presented a formula for an end to the conflict. The four-point Iranian proposal includes getting all sides to agree on an immediate ceasefire, provision of humanitarian assistance to Yemenis trapped in the conflict, initiation of an intra-Yemen dialogue and formation of a broad-based government. Earlier, Mr Zarif, who visited Oman before coming to Pakistain, shared the same proposal with the Omani government. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ... Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him... visited Tehran carrying a Saudi message. "This problem should be left to the Yemenis to resolve. We can only facilitate them and help them to talk to each other and finish fighting," Mr Zarif, accompanied by Mr Aziz, said at a presser after their talks at the Foreign Office. |
