| 11 More Insurgents Killed In Zulfiqar Operation |

| [Tolo News] At least 11 hard boyz were killed and 11 others maimed during Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) Zulfiqar Operation in Sangin and Musa Qala districts of southern Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... province, according to Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) statement. Hundreds of Taliban hard boyz were sheltering in these districts as part of their preparations for the summer offensive, the statement said. A Taliban capo Jamil was also among the killed Lion of Islams, it added. The statement, however, did not comment whether the security forces were harmed in the operation. The Zulfiqar Operation is being conducted for about two months in the unsafe districts of Helmand. In a separate fighting between the hard boyz and ANA forces in the Musa Qala, at least five hard boyz were killed and four others maimed, according to the statement. Two other hard boyz were killed when they were planting mine in Greshk district. A number of mines and other bombs were defused in Marja, Nawa and Sangin districts. |
