| Badghis Fathers Organize Marriage For Six-Year-Old Girl |

 [Tolo News] A man in northern Badghis province reportedly organized a marriage ceremony between his six-year-old daughter and an eleven-year-old boy in exchange 150,000 Afs.Local officials have expressed outrage at the news. The women's affairs department in Badghis has maintained that the father forced his daughter to marry for his own economic gain. The provincial police department has said that the fathers of the bride and groom are now in jug and investigations are underway. |
