| 6 ANA martyred, 64 insurgents killed in ANSF operations |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] Six Afghan National Army soldiers have embraced martyrdom in a road side landmine kaboom while 64 snuffies have been killed in Afghan National Security Forces operations. A statement issued by the Defense Ministry Monday morning does not contain information about the exact location of the kaboom where the soldiers were martyred but states that it happened in past 48 hours. Statement further states that 63 snuffies were killed and 31 others injured during confrontation with the military in past 48 hours. 158 Improvised Explosive Devices (EIDs) were also discovered and defused by the military during the past 48 hours, the statement adds.
