George W. Bush: Islamic State shows 'evil is real' |
2015-02-13 |
[WASHINGTONTIMES] Former President George W. Bush called it clearly when asked about Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... "There is no light grey," he said from the presidential address at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, KTBC TV reported. "Murdering innocent people to move a political point of view has been, is and always will be evil." Mr. Bush was also asked about the Gay Paree terrorist attacks that started at the Charlie Hebdo ... ![]() newspaper and then moved to a Jewish grocery, leaving numerous dead. "[The] nature of these enemies are the same of those who attacked us on our soil," he said in an apparent reference to the Sept. 11, 2001, terror strikes on America, The Blaze reported. "They strike in order to frighten us who believe in freedom." Mr. Bush's unfettered views are a sharp contrast to those of President B.O.'s, who has been soundly criticized in recent weeks for refusing to use the word "Islamist" when describing certain acts of terror. |

#6 Gromgoru. He did. But you can't say Islam is evil when you need to go through Pakistan to retaliate against Al Quaida. And stil less when Liberals are waiting to jump on you at times you need national unity. |

#3 Woodrow I have always believed the same thing. A cross between "Compassionate Conservatism" and the "noblesse oblige" of his father. Add to that the PC inability to call a spade a spade and you have the current mess. |
