| [Bangkok Post] An assistant village chief was injured in a drive-by attack in Cho Airong district of Narathiwat province Wednesday morning. Yawohe Laerae, the assistant chief of Kampong Baru village, was on a motorcycle heading to a rubber plantation. On the way, the he was followed by two men on another motorcycle and the pillion rider opened fire with a handgun, hitting him twice in the abdomen. |
