Dog bites 14 people in Maidan Wardak |

Normally "dog bites man" isn't news by definition.![]() "Mad dog" is different. Doctor Khayal Mohammad, head of the Public Health Department of Maidan Wardak Province says that the people bitten by the suspected mad dog include six children. He said one girl is also among the children bitten by the suspected mad dog. He told a meeting of local government officials in the Governor House of Maidan Wardak Province on Monday that the people bitten were delivered to the Provincial Hospital on time and that necessary vaccination was given to them by the doctors. He said that these people were bitten in separate incidents during the period of one week in Sad Murda area of Charkh District. Abdul Majid Khogyani, acting governor of Maidan Wardak Province who was chairing the meeting thanked Doctor Khayal Mohammad and his staff for prompt response to the situation and saving lives of those bitten by the suspected mad dog. He gave instructions to the municipality and other related departments to conduct a campaign of removing mad dogs from the area where the incident was reported. |
