#8  I thought of Hunger Games - but if your one of the very-few elite it's a pretty sweet lifestyle - as long as you don't cross the line.

Fallout came to mind because it already has giant roaches and ghouls.

#7  I suggest a theme park landfill.

#6  I think 'Hunger Games' is a pretty good replacement for '1984' in today's world.

#5  Make DC a separate independent nation rather than a state? That or a Disney theme park.

I would suggest a 1984 theme park but I doubt very many of the younger generation, who passed thru the education system, would 'get' it. And some would think 1984 is a pretty damn good idea.

How about we nuke the site from orbit and then make it a 'Fallout 3' theme park?

#4  GOP (especially the leadership) in DC is definitely disconnected - disdainful, disrespectful, and dishonest too.

#3  Yeah, there's a lot of nifty museums and monuments in D.C.

#1  Yep.

The more important question is the people of the United States willing to fight to bring Washington back in line?

So far it is looking like a no.
