![]() They added that 35-year-old head constable Malik Abdul Hafiz was riding a cycle of violence when armed motorcyclists attacked him near the Jamia Arabia seminary in Gharibabad. He sustained five bullet wounds and was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where doctors pronounced him dead He's dead, Jim! on arrival. The suspects also took away his mobile phone, cash and pistol, said Malir City SHO Abdul Khaliq Marvat. He had served in Malir City for a considerable period and had been transferred to DIG east headquarters around two months ago. He lived in Green Park City in Shah Latif Town. It was not known as to where he was going, said the police officer. The officer suspected that the incident might be linked to the ongoing assassination of coppers in the metropolis.
