Turkish authorities were questioning six people, including some foreigners, in connection with a suicide kaboom at an Istanbul cop shoppe, Turkey's state-run news agency ...and if you can't believe the state-run news agency who can you believe?... said Tuesday. Last week's attack killed an officer and maimed another. The female bomber was also killed. The suspects were being questioned by anti-terrorism authorities in Istanbul on Tuesday, the Anadolu Agency said. It gave no further detail on the suspects. Some Turkish media have said the bomber was a Russian citizen of Chechen origin. |
