#7 They don't call them Chinatown for nothing. Back in the bad old days of segregation, before the opportunity of upper and middle class black flight, some behaviors weren't tolerated in the community. |

#6 It's not about race, it's about where the majority of crime is centered: the inner cities and some of their immediate suburbs. You drop any racial or ethnic group into those conditions and after 2-4 generations you'll get the same result you see among the minorities currently living there now. |

#4 Probably should not have said black thugs as not all thugs are black--should have just left it at thugs. However, crime statistics would suggest that an out-of-proportion percentage of crime is committed by blacks. |

#3 The left believes these police shootings are collateral damage for a life not well-lived. They tend to believe that black thugs are worth more than police officers. Similarly, they demean people who serve their country. You might recall JFnKerry's remark sometime ago: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq." |

#2 780,000 is only state and local numbers. The number killed in the line of duty includes federal policing agencies. |
