 No such “lawfully present” immigrant, however, would be immediately entitled to the benefits because like all Social Security and Medicare recipients they would have to work 10 years to become eligible for retirement payments and health care. To remain qualified, either Congress or future administrations would have to extend Obama’s actions so that those immigrants would still be considered lawfully present in the country. |

| #5 ...as many are working for cash and not paying taxes. I think a lot of them will work legit jobs up to the point where they max out on the Federal EITC, so it's actually worse then that from a net taxes paid (refund) standpoint. |

| #1 Difficult to calculate any additional tax revenue from illegals, as many are working for cash and not paying taxes. Pelosi's 'windfall profits tax' will easily cover the additional costs and you'll feel very little impact on your 401k or IRA. The giverment has finally figured out a way to rob our savings accounts and they're using prospective democratic voters to do justify it. Pretty ingenious I'd say. |
