[DAWN] Justice Athar Minallah of Islamabad High Court(IHC) on Friday issued contempt notices to four petitioners for not depositing Rs4 million fine with the Pakistain Cricket Board (PCB).The petitioners were fined for filing frivolous petition against the PCB constitution.
Justice Minallah had dismissed the petition on September 5 and imposed Rs1 million fine on each petitioner while declaring it frivolous litigation.

IHC had directed the four petitioners to submit the fine amount with the PCB through a deputy registrar of the IHC.
PCB through its legal counsel in a contempt of court petition adopted before the court that despite court orders the respondents did not deposit the fine amount till this time.
The PCB requested the court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against them.
IHC bench while issuing notices to the respondents put off hearing till December 5.
