#19 And the condemnation from the "leading Imams" (not the "please don't hurt us" kind) will start in 1,000,000... 999,999 ... 999,998... |

#17 The Commish says it's terror: Police say New York hatchet attack by Islamic convert was terrorist attack The hatchet-wielding man who wounded two New York City police officers, critically injuring one, was a self-radicalized convert to Islam who is believed to have acted alone in what police on Friday called a terrorist attack. The suspect, Zale Thompson, who was shot dead by two other officers on Thursday afternoon on a Queens street, had made anti-Western postings on social media and visited websites associated with several radical Islamic groups, police told a news conference. "This was a terrorist attack," Commissioner William Bratton said. |

#12 #7 Teddy Roosevelt is long gone, JC. It is just my wishful thinking I suppose. However, I did come across a story recently that Ronald Reagan was known to pack a firearm when he was President. |

#11 Using a hand-tool such as an axe demonstrates a bit of...resolve, if that is the right word. Obviously the guy wasn't out splitting cord and flipped. Couple this story with that video about two men arguing with cop in background. Is there video of the full incident? I am curious about the involvement of the photographer. |

#5 Washington is running around in a dither and has had great difficulty defining "Islamic terrorism or terrorists" since MoBama has been in the WH. As long as there is such difficulty, little will ever be done to address the terrorism problem. Maybe a Pres in the WH who picks up his .44 magnum, calmly goes out on the WH front lawn and dispatches an Islamic fence jumper and then says: "Take that you SOB wherever the hell you came from" would ease the uneasiness Americans have been feeling for 6-1/2 years. |

#3 Banged nails for a living when I was young and Estwing hammers and hatchets were the cat's pajamas. Still got 3 that are 40 years old, love 'em. So Beso I hope this doesn't resonate. |

#2 Obviously another tea-party type fanatic, 2nd amendment right to bear hatchets flake. A good dose of Obamacare psychiatry could have stopped this, as would a waiting period for the purchase of edged weapons of mass destruction, along with a 5 round magazine limit. (And no bayonets, ever. Military hardware.) (I wish I was kidding...) |
