| [ARABNEWS] Iranian television published a rare picture Monday of its elite Quds Force chief in Iraq that was widely circulated online, puncturing the mystique of one of the region's most powerful men. The image of Major General Qassem Suleimani purportedly showing him on an Iraqi battlefield was published on the website of IRINN state television ... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe? , and repeatedly shared on Twitter. Grinning widely, Suleimani, easily identified by his greying hair and beard, was seen standing alongside Kurdish peshmerga fighters. IRINN did not say where the picture was taken. Iran initially denied Suleimani was in Iraq, but several pictures used in official media have appeared to confirm his presence near battles against forces of Evil from the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... group. |

| #2 Again, IRAN is refusing to commit any of its major conventional forces to fight the ISIS/ISIL unless the Nucprog issues wid the US-Israel, etal. is formally resolved. It has Hezbollah in Lebanon-Syria, + local Shia "Qadir" Militias in Iraq, + it will likely retaliate militarily, albeit limited, iff the ISIS gets too close to Iran proper for Tehran's comfort. The above being said, the ultimate or top priority for the US-NATO/EU right now is preventing the ISIS from destabilizing + expanding into Turkey. IFF THE US-WEST FEARED ANYTHING AS PER THE OVERTHROW OF THE SHAH OF IRAN BACK IN THE LATE 1970'S, IT WILL BE much WORSE WID AN ISIS-CONTROLLED TURKEY. Wid IRAN expanding its sphere from Iraq to Syria + Lebanon [East Med], any ISIS-controlled Turkey can expand only towards RUSSIA + EASTERN EUROPE [NATO-EU]. THE NEED FOR A UNIFIED, WESTERN + EASTERN JUDEOCHRISTIAN/CHRISTIAN MILPOL BARRIER IN THE UKRAINE [Crimea] + BLACK SEA REGION AGZ THE EXPANSION-HAPPY ISIS/ISIL CALIPHATE IN SYRIA-IRAQ IS MORE IMPERATIVE NOW THANKS TO THE LOOMING ISIS THREAT TO TURKEY. |
