| Militants execute man for 'spying' in Tirah |

| [DAWN] LANDI KOTAL: Lashkar-e-Islam Lions of Islam on Friday killed a primitive in Tirah valley for spying. Sources said Nek Mohammad captured in Speen Drand locality a few days ago was convicted of spying on the banned outfit. They said first, the man was rubbed out and then, his body was displayed in an open area for several hours before being handed over to family. Traditionally they have been migratory, tromping between Jamrud and the Rajgal valley with the seasons. The tribe has had mustache-cursing relationships with several other tribes, including the Zakkakhel and Kambarkhel, and with the Mullagori. They make welcome most anyone with a turban and automatic weapons, but every once in awhile they get together a tribal lashkar to mollify the government... but the reason behind his killing was not known.
