| Quamrul: Militancy originated at Hawa Bhaban |

| [Dhaka Tribune] Food Minister Quamrul Islam yesterday said militancy in Bangladesh was originated at notorious Hawa Bhaban with aim to turn the country a communal state. "Defeated forces of '71, killers of '75, BNP, Jamaat and Lions of Islam are not different anymore, rather they are joint force now," he said. The minister came up with the observation while addressing a human chain formed in front of the National Press Club marking the 9th anniversary of series bombing carried out by Jammat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). |
