[Tolo News] A NATO soldier was killed in an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan on Tuesday, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said."An ISAF service member died as a result of an enemy forces attack in eastern Afghanistan today," ISAF said in a statement.
ISAF said the soldier died by enemy fire, but did not provide details of the nationally of the soldier and the exact location of the incident. Most of the U.S. troops are based in eastern Afghanistan.
The death toll of foreign troops in Afghanistan has increased to 57 this year.
