2014-08-09 |
Thai police are seeking an arrest warrant for a Bannang Sata native, who was allegedly involved in a car bomb attack in downtown Yala's Betong district, according to a source on the investigation team. Faosi Klupaewas reportedly identified by security camera footage as a person who allegedly drove the explosive-loaded pick-up truck to the location. The source said police also suspect that Bannang Sata native Lukman Pulaprapeh, who is wanted for another case in January 2008, was also in the vehicle with Faosi. Arrest warrants have been issued for Abah Jehali and Makorseng Jehma for allegedly robbing a transport van that was later used as a getaway vehicle in the Betong attack. Two people were killed and dozens injured in the July 25 attack, which also set nearby buildings and vehicles ablaze. |
