A decision in Palmer vs D.C.
2014-07-27
Link here
The decision was handed down early today, probably why it hasn't made the major news sources yet. Read the judge's decision at the link
For those of us not paying close attention, this is about Washington, DC's ban on carrying handguns.
The MSM will manage to ignore this for another day. Journolist will need until Monday to decide what the news shall be...

#5  Just lie about carry permits like NJ does. Carry ban works 100% here. We're MAY issue like right after Hell may freeze over.

#4  Have we reach the point yet where such acts by pols are declared an out right civil rights violation and lose immunity to prosecution for conspiracy to violate those rights?

#3  Who knows, an a society of armed citizens might just lead to a civility, lawfulness, and politeness in Chicago and D.C. Miracles can happen.

#2  I can see why the elite in Washington D.C. and Chicago would want to ban the carrying of firearms. The ordinary people might see behind the curtain. They might just all realize that they are getting shafted and get fed up.

#1  Ban on carrying unequivocally struck down. Completely. Just like in Illinois. DC is going to have to come up with a carry permit system.
