| Nigerian soldiers kill 25 anti-Israel protesters on Quds Day | ||

| [Iran Press TV] Twenty-five demonstrators, including the sons of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, have been bumped off during an anti-Israeli rally held to mark International Quds Day in an ancient city of the African country, Press TV has learned. The deaths occurred on Friday during anti-Israel rally, as Nigerians erupted into the streets to denounce Tel Aviv's deadly military assault on Gazoo. The Quds Day rally in the city of Zaria in Kaduna State turned violent when armed soldiers opened fire on protesters, killing 25 demonstrators and arresting 12 others. Among those killed was 18-year-old Syed Mahmud Ibrahim Zakzaky, a son of Sheikh Ibrahim al-Zakzaky,

This year's anti-Israel rallies are being held as Israeli warplanes and tanks have been pounding numerous sites inside the Gazoo Strip. More than 985 people have so far been killed and over 6,000 others maimed since the Israeli military first launched its offensive on the Paleostinian enclave on July 8. | ||

| #2 General Mike Flynn's theory of "something else even worse will turn up" no longer applies to Syed Mahmund Zakzaky 24 of his chums. Whatever comes along, they won't be a part of it, which is reassuring and hopefully a deterrent. |
