[The Nation (Pak)] Former military ruler ![]() PervMusharraf ... former dictator of Pakistain, who was less dictatorial and corrupt than any Pak civilian government to date ... was granted exemption from appearing in Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder hearing. According to details, the hearing of Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case could not be held due to the absence of the judge. The case was due to be heard by additional session judge Wajid Ali. The next hearing of the case will be held on September 18, 2014. The first petition stated that Musharraf was facing severe security threats while the second maintained that he cannot travel due to sickness. During the last hearing, the police prepared an investigation report under section 173 of the Criminal Procedure Code which stated that Haroon Rasheed; son of Ghazi Rasheed was neither a witness in his father's murder nor had any evidence against Musharraf. |
