The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... launched an attack on the Bonderi Gendarmerie Brigade, seven kilometres from the border with Nigeria, the Senior Divisional Officer for Mayo-Sava district said. The assailants maimed one gendarme, seized a gendarmerie service vehicle, two boxes containing about 1,000 ammunitions, and four cycle of violences, Babila Akao said by phone. |
