Rescue and security teams reached the blast site.
The victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment while security personnel ccordoned off the area a as probe into the incident went underway.
Some bystanders reported that the destroyed debris of the cycle of violence suggested that explosives were planted on the two-wheeler while others sources said that the blast was caused by a hand-grenade.
