Kayani is the former Director General of ISI... 's reported procrastination is no more and the North Wazoo operation's ground phase has been launched following weeks of 'softening' of targets via air strikes. The honest truth, though, is that it is too early to say if this optimism is valid. But what isn't early to say is that there are elements in the defence forces that need serious reorientation training if there are to be lasting gains from the sacrifices of the soldiers — and civilians about 10 of whom have died for every soldier killed — as the forces of Evil have pursued their bloody campaign. |

| #3 For the most part, imho, offshho terrorist groups are little more than present-day mobsters with AK's and a willing press looking for the latest "bad-boy" story. Dangerous? Yes, but to some degree, motivated by their vanity. See Al Capone, etc. |
