| [DAWN] A joint-declaration made after the All-Party Conference (APC) held by Pakistain Awami Tehrik (PAT) on Sunday asked for Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif ...Pak dynastic politician, brother of PM Nawaz Sharif, chief minister of Punjab... 's resignation over Lahore's Model Town incident, where a violent clash had broken out between police and PAT supporters earlier this month. The joint-notification issued by the APC participants asked for the dismissal of all government machinery involved in the incident and called to for the president to suspend those who fails to do so. It demanded for a commission empowered enough that could summon the prime minister as well. |
