What he did, however, is a criminal offense both in Germany and Italy, punishable by up to 5 years in prison (3 years in Italy afaik). He's currently under investigation by the prosecutor's office. If he really voted twice there's documentation. He'll be let off with a slap on the wrist though, being part of the establishment. This will send a clear message concerning the validity of this 'election' and the legitimacy of this 'parliament'. |
