2014-05-24 |
[Iran Press TV] Twenty members of a family have been injured by a rocket that hit their home in Libya's northeastern city of Benghazi, security sources say. The rocket slammed into the house, which was located near the headquarters of the army's special forces, on Friday. According to a front man for Al-Huari hospital, where the injured were taken, members of the family have all suffered shrapnel wounds. The special forces have expressed their support for retired General Khalifa Haftar, who launched an operation in Benghazi on May 16 to force powerful militias out. At least 79 people have so far been killed in the operation. |
