Prince Charles 'compared Russian actions to Nazis' |
2014-05-23 |
[BBC] A former Polish war refugee who met Prince Charles in Canada has said he likened some Nazi actions in Europe to those of Russia's Vladimir Putin![]() Marienne Ferguson was speaking after meeting Prince Charles at a Nova Scotia immigration museum where she works. ![]() He's probably referring to the Crimean Anschluss. Clarence House said it would not comment on a private conversation. Or was it the Sudenten Anschluss? The prince and the Russian president are both due to attend a D-Day anniversary event in La Belle France next month. Or the Polish... No. Wait. They didn't call that an Anschluss, did they? Speaking from China, President Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov told the BBC he was "not commenting right now" on the remarks. I find it hilarious that people who could find echos of Naziism in Ronald Reagan and both George Bushes can't seem to find the log in their own eye. |

#1 As per BHARAT RAKSHAK + TOPIX, looks like Putin's aides are doing Vlad's talking for him, proclaiming Prince Charles as "unfit" to rule on the British throne. |
