| #1 I hate to ask, but do you have Moslem neighbors? What do your Moslem neighbors do for a living? Do they repair your car? Do they teach your elementary children in the local school? Uh, are they on the Police Force in your town? Is one of them your doctor or your dentist, perhaps? How about the students in your local high school, do they hang out with your kids? And the family with the stroller at the mall with the wife dressed in "traditional" clothing and the husband wearing a little cap and sandals. Or the Moslem serving you your coffee at Starbucks? Got any Pakistanis working as managers at Majic Mart ? Any good Arabic Restaurants locally in your town? How about the Arabic community on that city street with all the signs in Arabic ? You have one of those "neighborhoods" in your city? Know anybody named Abdul or Osama...no seriously. People don't change their names, they don't stop being Moslem because they drive a Ford, y'know or shop at Walmart. Keep your eyes open, look around you. Is there a Mosque in your city? There is? Do they assimilate like the people who go to Temple or Synagogue? Any of them have a golden lab retriever? No? Any of them named Hussein? Or Barack? Take a look around. |
