| Target killers sent to jail for identification parade |

| [DAWN] LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Saturday sent six alleged hit mans to jail for an identification parade. The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) had tossed in the clink Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out! the suspects allegedly involved in the killing of many religious leaders, lawyers and doctors. The agency produced the suspects before the court under strict security arrangements. The official told the court that the arrested suspects confessed to 18 incidents of assassinations during the initial interrogation. The victims of suspects included Maulana Shamsur Rehman Muavia of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat ...which is the false nose and plastic mustache of the murderous bannedextremist group Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistain, whatcha might call the political wingof Lashkar-e-Jhangvi... , advocates Shakir Ali Rizvi and Arshad Ali and Khurram Raza Qadri of Sunni Tehrik ...formed in Karachi in 1992 under by Muhammad Saleem Qadri. It quickly fell to trading fisticuffs and assassinations with the MQM and the Sipah-e-Sahaba, with at least a half dozen of its major leaders rubbed out. Sunni Tehreek arose to become the primary opposition to the Deobandi Binori Mosque, headed by Nizamuddin Shamzai, who was eventually bumped off by person or persons unknown. ST's current leadership has heavily criticized the Deobandi Jihadi leaders, accusing them of being sponsored by Indian Intelligence agencies as well as involvement in terrorist activities... The suspects were identified as Abdul Rauf, Sabir Shah, Sheikh Farhan, Shafqat Farooqi, Muhammad Hashim and SLearned Elders of Islamn Pathan. The official stated that since suspects were involved in high profile crime, their identification was required. The court allowed the request and sent the suspects to jail for identification and directed the CIA to submit a report on April 25. |
