No Food In Palestinian Refugee Camp, UN Reports |
2014-04-20 |
[Ynet] The UN Relief and Works Agency said Saturday that as of Sunday, the refugees in a Paleostinian refugee camp in Syria will be out of food. "This is the tenth consecutive day that UNRWA has been unable to distribute food assistance inside Yarmouk. Given that an UNRAW food parcel lasts for a maximum of 10 days, from tomorrow there will be no UN food in the camp," front man Chris Gunness said. According to the UN agency, on April 18 they were not authorized to enter the camp and distribute food following the recent escalation between the sides of the on going conflict in Syria. |
