PESHAWAR: A soldier was killed and two others were injured on Friday as militants attacked a security forces’ vehicle on the Frontier Road in the outskirts of Peshawar. The attack came just two days after the Taliban shura refused to extend the 40-day ceasefire with the government. DSP Fazle Wahid told local reporters that the convoy was attacked near Aziz Market in Sheikhan village that borders the Khyber tribal region.
