| AMISOM convoy attacked in Mogadishu |

| An IED bomb was planted underground in Mogadishu and detonated as an African Union convoy passed by near Suuqa Xoolaha. The AMISOM soldiers halted the movements of citizens and public transports immediately after the blast. Precise numbers of casualties have not been announced although it is speculated that the bomb was targeted at the African Union troops. Witnesses tell Shabelle that the soldiers immediately fired gunshots to scatter away the onlookers near Suuqa Xoolaha. |
