As it is reported from Baladweyne, the provincial capital city of the Hiiraan region; heavy mortar shells were used to attack the Janta Kundisho territory on the outskirts of Baladweyne.The mortar shells were exchanged between Al-Shabaab and Ethiopian troops and the casualties caused last night are still unknown.
Due to the inclusion of the Ethiopian troops under the AMISOM mandate, they have already began launching their offensives in some areas of the Hiiraan region against Al-Shabaab.
