..Panamanian-flagged cargo ship. Why the Israelis do not adopt a doctrine that all vessels found carrying cargo like this will be seized/scuttled is beyond me.. They seized this one. Seems like the Phester Doctrine is working... |

#1 Background information: General cargo vessel Klos C [ex-KLOSTERTAL], IMO , dwt 6985, built 1996, flag Company procured KLOS C C in July 2012, according to Equasis. Since then, vessel was trading in Persina Gulf and Red sea until August 2013. In August vessel was relocated to Black sea and made several voyages in Black sea. Vessel left Istanbul on Dec 27, and arrived to Bandar Abbas on Jan 23. Missiles trip started from Bandar Abbas. Pic of Klos C under previous name. * per web site, "WhiteSea Shipping & Supply LLC (WSS) provides marine support to the offshore oil and gas industry. Based in the UAE, the company owns and operates a large fleet of offshore support vessels including AHTS, DP 1, Maintenance Vessels, four point mooring, crane vessels and other specialised craft." |
