| At least 11 killed in assault on Islamabad court complex |

| At least 11 people were killed in an attack at a court in Islamabad today. Gunmen burst into the court complex and opened fire before at least two suicide bombers detonated explosives during the morning when crowds gather. A judge and several lawyers are said to be among those killed and at least 24 people were injured. No group has yet taken responsibility the attack - one of the deadliest assaults on the capital for years. Police officials say this was a complex attack. They say an unknown number of gunmen, thought to be armed with grenades as well as AK47 assault rifles, stormed the area where judges' chambers and lawyers' offices are located, a maze of corridors and walkways. Islamabad police chief Sikandar Hayat said that two of the attackers blew themselves up when surrounded by police. |

| #2 Lawyers in Paki are even bigger political mischief makers than they are here. The only thing worse than the rule of law is no law at all, so there's no particular joy in this instance. |
