Ukraine Announces Nationwide 'Anti-Terrorist' Operation as Europe Condemns Violence
2014-02-20
[An Nahar] Anti-government protesters were locked in a stand-off with riot police across burning barricades Wednesday after fierce festivities left at least 26 people dead in Ukraine's worst crisis since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The crackdown by security forces triggered a storm of international condemnation, with the White House calling the violence "completely outrageous".

#5  Isn't auto-insert trying to book a spot on the new tonight show?

Anyone paying attention over the last couple months, and thank you Rantburg for that, could see that this was coming to a head. The video featured last week had police just taking fire bombs, rhetoric has been heating up, hard lines taken.

And the US brings one of our talented ambassadors to eloquently say eff the EU. Persuasive, polished, rational. Is this one of our post purchases? And Barry trying so hard to not have to have His image anywhere near another confrontation with Putin they hide him on the golf course. King Putt said consequences, so now Putin with have to put up with Carney and Biden and so and so's snippy word bits on American news.

Barry and co. are walking into the same trap as Syria, three months late and two balls short. On deck, Venezuela, where in June the eye of jarret notices that their friendmate in Venezuela has been officially endorsed by Assad. Way to blow that political cash on red lines and cheap hookers.

#3  As far fetched as it might seem, Putin knows Champ if a gutless fool, and if the situation in Ukraine gets too far out of bounds for the Rodinia-vision Putin has, look for troop movements are a reminder of what happened to Georgia!

#1  Either you view "Human Rights" as a universal principle---or, you view them as club to beat your enemies over the head.
