![]() By Chris Covert Rantburg.com From the Constitution State, Hartfort Courant columnist Dan Haar is gobsmacked that the rate of "assault rifles" registration is as low as it is. Don't you bitter gun clingers realize how good it is to be a serf? And speaking of unconstitutional states, an aide for Governor Cuomo, Jerome Hauer, was caught carrying a firearm onto state grounds. Funnily enough, he was caught after it was reported in a newspaper in October that he used his firearm's laser attachment as a pointer. But it's all good. He's an aid to the GOVERNOR which means he gets a pass. That must be what the governor meant when he said New York was no place for conservatives. New York passed its unconstitutional SAFE act to demonstrate that. Elsewhere in New York a community activist, Dwayne Ferguson, was caught with a firearm on a school grounds, but was apparently not charged. Must not have been a conservative, coz they're not welcomed in New York. Worked so hard to pass the law he violated. Just a hint: Don't support laws you have no intention of obeying. And lastly, Liberal tears Gun Oil. Loads. Rantburg's summary for arms and ammunition: Prices for pistol Ammunition were mixed, while prices for rifle ammunition mostly lower.
