#3 I worked with AA (aka Accenture) many times when I was a Systems Consultant with SAP. They had a few good people but their processes and policies were outlandishly wasteful and expensive.
There were standing jokes about the "Anderson Campers" (trainees) that would be bussed to the project location 20 - 50 at a time to serve as gofers and assistants to the 10 or so actual AA Consultants that were cabable of doing the work.
Of those 10ish 3 to 5 were senior people fighting to make partner, 1 or 2 were partners and they spent most of their time trying to sell more bodies into the project.
Let's just say that you don't want to hear about the project I audited for the USN that had AA as the consulting firm running things. |
